Created Done in colaboration with Alexis Packesavich with help from the polymer science group at the PSU Material Science labs, these photographs represent a project where sculptural forms were designed on paper and with the assistance of a computer at the atomic scale. The resulting "Sculpture" was then produced in the lab. Because the sculpture was produced chemically, the sculpture was produced many trillions of times in a crystaline latice - the size of a droplet on a sheet of lab glass. These photographs are taken under a special wavelength of light which illuminate the crystals to show the resulting crystaline forms. The photographic prints are taken at levels of magnification from 250 to over 1000 times actual size.
